Freedom of speech is very important, mainly because we, the people, have the right to express ourselves above most any other right. This is part of Amendment One and is protected by government officials and the people.
Freedom of speech is the most important right because the people have the right to express themselves. People also have the right to speak their minds. The government is not perfect and the people have the right to say so, to express their opinions. If people did not speak their own minds then things said or expressed would start to get misunderstood. People need the right to express themselves, or the freedom of speech, because otherwise we start to get confused, when we are confused we get upset, while we are upset, we then start to get mad, and when we get mad the situation can, at times, get violent.
The most important right people have is their ability to speak, or their voice; not their physical voice, or the one that they physically talk with, the voice that comes from inside; the words that are truer than any words that can be actually spoken, or a person’s expressions.
This amazing right is found in Amendment One along with four other rights, but not as important as the freedom of speech.
